Hey Style Lovers,
As I was writing this week's article on timeless essentials for every wardrobe, I really started thinking. What makes something timeless?
Is it the ability to never age, or is it the ability to adapt and refresh in every season?
I'm thinking the latter. The LBD is a timeless piece–not because we're wearing the same style Coco Chanel introduced 100 years ago–more so because of it's versatility in one's wardrobe and it's adaptability to different silhouettes and styles.
A few pieces we may wear for a decade or two, because they're that good. But most of us are purchasing different versions of the same piece as we change from one season of life to another. Those pieces–what they represent and the way they make us feel are what makes them timeless in our wardrobes.
My article this week offers a change in perspective from the more common, prescriptive approach to a timeless wardrobe. I hope it inspires you to revisit your closet and remember those pieces that breathe the most light into your life.
