Hey Reader,
If you've been following social media, you know the fashion world has become quite controversial. It seems just about every "group" is the target of a shame campaign—from influencers to lovers of ultra-fast fashion and even to capsule wardrobe minimalists.
It's times like these that I take a step back to pause and reflect. Honestly, I've walked in the shoes of each of these "groups" at one point in my life or another. No matter how stylish I think I am, I'm also here to learn, and the diversity of style and opinion inspires me most.
Fashion is so much more than choosing the right look for the occasion. A color or aesthetic choice reflects our conscious and unconscious selves, evolving as we do. From blending in to standing out, it’s a journey that deserves grace—for ourselves and others.
I've found myself deeply revisiting my style evolution as I wrote this week's post about dressing for the dream job in a creative industry. It's taken me several years to build out my wardrobe in a way that works for me. Now, I'm more freely embracing myself and focused on making this upcoming decade of my life the best yet, fashionably and personally.
